![]() Meet Charlene Hope, PharmD, MS — and learn why she created Mindful Medicine to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and everyday health decisions. |
I have spent over 20 years in healthcare. I have worked inside large academic medical centers, advised on medication safety, counseled patients at the bedside, and watched the same thing happen over and over again.
People leave the doctor's office with more questions than answers. They stand in the pharmacy aisle overwhelmed by options. They Google their symptoms at midnight and come away more confused — or more scared — than when they started. And they have no idea that one of the most accessible, knowledgeable healthcare providers available to them is standing right behind the pharmacy counter.
That's a pharmacist. That's me.
I created Mindful Medicine Pharmacy because I believe you deserve more than a rushed 10-minute appointment and a printout you won't read. You deserve clear, credible, plain-language guidance from someone who has spent decades understanding how medications work — and how they work in real people, not just clinical trials.
My name is Charlene Hope. I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and a Master of Science (MS) in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety. I have spent my career at the intersection of medication safety, patient education, and healthcare quality. And I have seen firsthand what happens when people have access to a trusted pharmacist voice — they make better decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and feel genuinely confident about their health.
That's what this site is for.
Here you'll find free pharmacist-guided OTC references that cut through the noise on the pharmacy shelf. You'll find blog posts that translate clinical information into language that actually makes sense. And when you want a one-on-one conversation with someone who knows your specific situation, you can book a consultation directly with me.
No appointment wait. No rushed visit. Just a real pharmacist in your corner.
